Carlos Molina, 62, a devoted husband and father of three, has passed away after fighting intense pain for two months in the hospital.
He was remembered by his family as a selfless man who worked tirelessly to support them. In October, Carlos was involved in a fatal car accident that resulted in severe burns to over 35% of his body.
Despite developing pneumonia, the family remained optimistic about his recovery. At the time of the crash, Carlos was driving for Uber and was cut off by another driver on I-95, causing a fuel tanker to collide with his car, which burst into flames.
The Molina family is now grieving their loss and a GoFundMe has been set up to help with funeral expenses.
The Florida Highway Patrol has issued a citation to the driver responsible for the crash.
